EdTech Connect for November 2017: Natural Language Processing to Improve Student Engagement

Our professor, Rebecca J. Passonneau, is going to give the next EdTech Connect presentation!

This month's EdTech Connect presentation Natural Language Processing to Improve Student Engagement will be held on 11/30 at noon, at Westgate Building, room W207. During this presentation, Becky Passonneau is going to share her research on the application of artificial intelligence through natural language processing (NLP) to analyze the content of students' written work. This work has potential to enhance instruction in a number of impactful ways. Dr. Passonneau will share results presented at her recent workshop, Connecting Language, Interaction and Education in Digital Environments (CLIEDE 2017; Supported by NSF, Penn State Teaching and Learning with Technology, and the Waterbury Chair of the Penn State College of Education).
