Ready for the new semester? Joint CSE/IST NLP Colloquium Fall 2019 is happening with exciting talks! On September 27, we just had the first speaker, Elijah Mayfield, Entrepreneur-In-Residence from Carnegie Mellon University, giving his talk, "Explainable Humans: Algorithmic Decision-Making and Education Policy". Our professor, Rebecca J. Passonneau, is now officially a Teaching & Learning with Technology (TLT) 2017 Fellow! 

Announcing a special issue of the International Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Education , co-edited by Prof. Passonneau,  that is due out in 2017 or early 2018. All ten papers are now available individually through SpringerLink!

Today, our professor, Rebecca J. Passonneau, gave a great presentation in the 18th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education ( AIED2017 ), hosted by the International AIED Society in Wuhan, China from June 28th to July 2nd, 2017!  👏
